INA – FIRE SERVICE’S TWO NEW TRUCKS

On Friday, December 20, 2024, the handover of two new emergency firefighting vehicles took place, which will strengthen the firefighting units in Molvi and Zagreb. Branko Tišljar, commander of VP INA Žitnjak and Ivica Lovreković, commander of VP INA Molve, received the trucks in front of their fire brigades. With this handover, the first phase of the renewal of the firefighting fleet of INA Vatrogasnih Servis d.o.o. was concluded. started in 2021, in which, so far, 8 custom-built vehicles have been delivered, and an additional five used fire engines have been purchased. With the purchase of these 13 fire trucks, the average age of the firefighting fleet of INA fire services has been significantly reduced and safety has been increased at all our locations.

“The entire process of renewing the firefighting fleet is extremely important in terms of increasing the safety of the locations that are under our protection. Now we can say that at all our locations we have modern vehicles, ready to respond to the most demanding challenges. Thank you to everyone who supported the investment in the renewal of the firefighting fleet and thus made our facilities safer and confirmed IVS units as the largest and best equipped professional firefighting units in the economy.” said IVS director Rikardo Kljucarić on this occasion.

The delivered vehicles are purpose-built for interventions at industrial plants, especially those where there are large quantities of flammable liquids, and they were completely built in the Croatian plants of the Ziegler company. Chief fire commander Slavko Tucaković also attended the handover.
