Donation of firefighting equipment for repairing the damage caused by earthquakes
Today, INA firefighters donated firefighting equipment to their colleagues from the Volunteer Fire Department Turopolje.
The firefighters from VFD Turopolje, in addition to their daily work, are at disposal to people in central Croatia where they help the victims of the earthquake and participate in the reconstruction and removal of threats from damaged buildings. During this year, after the devastating earthquakes, in Turopolje alone they repaired 80 chimneys and 30 roofs, supported load-bearing structures of the buildings, and evacuated and transported the citizens. The equipment was handed over to the commander of the VFD Turopolje, Patrik Čunčić, by Mr. Tomislav Cesar, leading expert for firefighting in INA, and Dražen Marjanić, deputy commander of INA’s Žitnjak Fire Brigade.
